Version 1.3 Build 138 - Published

This is a temporary release. It has been published.
This release was not communicated to current users however it is available for download via the download site published on this site. Existing users should download the non-commercial license from the link on the FAQ page to re-enable the software if they have not finished evaluating SchedulerLite.
This release consists of one change:
  • inclusion of a non-commercial license file.
The inclusion of the license file is a temporary work around to a bug in the license management which causes the software to time out. This only affects unlicensed copies of Version 1.3 Build 136.

Version 1.3 Build 144 - Published (Version 1.3.02)

Version 1.3.02 has been released as build 144. This is a minor enhancement.
Its release was not communicated to current users however it is available for download via the download site published on this site. Existing users are welcome to upgrade free. No recommendation will be made to upgrade.
The primary reason for this release it to:
  • increase the number of zoom levels in the Graphical View of a roster so that shorter time periods can be rostered  / booked in it.
Other changes made to the Graphical View in this release are:
  • Change to the behavior of the Snap To when dragging the whole of the rostered / booked period. Snap To will only apply to positioning the start of the rostered/ booked period. In previous versions both the start and end times of the rostered / booked period snapped to which could result in the duration of the rostered / booked period being changed.
  • Change to the behavior of drag and drop when reducing the duration of a rostered / booked period by dragging the start or end boundary. This period (i.e. the box) will reduce to the minimum period and then stop. Previously once the minimum period had been reached the box was then dragged.
  • Change to entry of Default Duration and Snap To preferences. It is no longer possible to record a value of zero. This prevents a number of undesirable behaviors.
  • Change to the Default Duration so that it no longer rounds to the nearest 5 minutes.

Version 1.3.03

This release is a minor enhancement.
It will not be communicated to current users however it will be available for download via the download site published on this site. Existing users will be welcome to upgrade free. No recommendation will be made to upgrade.
It will consist of one change:
  • a new report to calculate resource costs. Note that the costing module (i.e. version 1.4) will deliver a comprehensive costing solution.

Version 1.3.04

This release was formerly part of version 1.3.1 . Version 1.3.1 will not be released. This is a bug fix.
Its release will not be communicated to current users however it will be available for download via the download site published on this site. Existing users are welcome to upgrade free. No recommendation will be made to upgrade.
This release consists of one change:
  • fix to license management so that SchedulerLite does not time out inappropriately.
This release offers no functional benefits to users.

Version 1.4

This is a major upgrade
This version will deliver a costing module. This module will be generic and cater for unpaid breaks, minimum pay periods, overtime etc.

Version 1.5
