Booking - Pictorial View
The same features in SchedulerLite, used when rostering, are used when booking. Both the pictorial and spreadsheet style views are available.
The screenshot below is an example of SchedulerLite used for managing bookings or reservations. In this example it has been used to book/ reserve meeting rooms however it can just as easily be used to book or reserve other assets or resources (e.g. vehicle fleet, plant ,campsite etc.).
It is easy to see what is available at a glance. Making a booking or reservation is as easy as drag and drop.
The booking (blue rectangles) display preferences have been set as follows:
  • first line - 'Begin/End Times' for booking;
  • second line - Name of person booking room.

The display preferences can be changed by clicking on the musical note symbol on the tool bar.
Additional data can also be recorded about the booking/ reservation for example whether it is provisional or confirmed. If you do this then you can change the display preferences when you want to review the status of bookings/ reservations.
